Medicinal diet for treating ejaculatory dysfunction
1. Cook 30 grams of yam (100 grams if fresh), 15 grams of lotus seeds, and 100 grams of japonica rice into porridge with an appropriate amount of water. This is used for anejaculation due to spleen deficiency and low sperm count.

How to perform massage therapy
1. The patient lies prone. The practitioner uses their palm to massage the patient's lower back and both sides of the lumbosacral region for about 3 minutes, and then uses the thenar eminence of one hand to rub the Mingmen and Yaoyangguan acupoints for 1 minute.
2. The patient lies prone. The practitioner first presses the Guanyuan and Shu points on both sides for 1 minute each, and then rubs the Baliao points with the palm for 1 minute (place one palm on the Baliao points on the lumbosacral region and rub horizontally).
3. The patient lies supine. The practitioner uses a few feathers to perform linear stimulation along the liver and kidney meridians from top to bottom on the patient's abdomen 40 times. Then, with the navel as the center point, perform transverse stimulation to both sides 10 times.
4. The patient lies supine. The practitioner uses the thumb of one hand to press the patient's Zhongji acupoint, and the index, middle and ring fingers of the other hand to massage and rub from under the scrotum to the perineum for about 1 minute.
5. The patient lies supine. The practitioner flexes the lower limbs so that the soles of the feet are flat on the bed. The practitioner inserts the tips of the index, middle, and ring fingers of both hands into the spaces between the first and second toes, the second and third toes, and the fourth and fifth toes of the patient's two feet, respectively, at the Xingjian, Neiting, and Xiaxi acupoints. The practitioner pinches these points 10 times in the depressions of the toes, followed by massage for 1 minute. During this method, the patient may experience intense itching and pain.
6. The patient lies supine. The practitioner uses both thumbs to press and move on the heel of the patient's foot. When the most sensitive area is touched, the practitioner stops and repeats the stimulation. Finally, the practitioner uses multiple fingers to knead the entire heel.
Sexual therapy
First, both partners should learn more about sex and participate in sexual behavior therapy together. During intercourse, the man should increase the depth and frequency of penile thrusting inside the vagina to enhance the stimulation of the glans penis by the vaginal walls. At the same time, the woman should support the man's scrotum with her hand and press it against the pubic symphysis to promote orgasm and ejaculation.
Alternatively, the woman can manually stimulate the glans penis and coronal sulcus to bring the man to a high level of arousal. When the man feels he is about to ejaculate, the woman should assume the woman-superior position and quickly insert the penis into the vagina, continuing stimulation during insertion. If the man cannot ejaculate after a short period of vigorous friction, the woman can stimulate the penis again manually. When the man feels an urge to ejaculate, he should then insert the penis into the vagina, continuing to increase the size and speed of thrusting. Once ejaculation occurs inside the vagina, the erectile dysfunction can be permanently corrected. If the above methods still fail to produce intravaginal ejaculation, the man can initially ejaculate outside the vagina, gradually transitioning to intravaginal ejaculation.
What should we pay attention to in daily life?
1. Pay attention to cultivating the relationship between husband and wife. Be considerate and cooperative with each other in sexual life. If ejaculation failure occurs, do not blame each other. Seek medical attention as soon as possible and cooperate with the treatment.
2. It is important to strengthen the learning and mastery of sexual knowledge and not to excessively restrict sexual activity, because too little sexual activity is not conducive to the release of androgens.
3. The location of sexual intercourse should be free from external interference to avoid fear and tension that could prevent ejaculation.
4. Sexual activity should be moderate. Avoid excessive sexual activity, but do not abstain for a long time. Also, abstain from masturbation.
5. Maintain an open and stable emotional state, and participate in meaningful cultural and recreational activities and physical exercises, such as Tai Chi, walking, and swimming, to regulate your mind and body and assist in treatment.
6. You can choose to eat soft-shelled turtle, oyster meat, walnuts, animal kidneys and testicles to nourish the kidneys and strengthen yang, and choose to eat pork, beef and mutton spinal cord and mussels to nourish yin essence.
7. Avoid excessive smoking and drinking.
Retrograde ejaculation
Retrograde ejaculation refers to a condition where sexual intercourse occurs normally, resulting in orgasm and the sensation of ejaculation, but no semen is expelled from the urethra; instead, it flows backward into the bladder. Post-coital urine tests show sperm and fructose. During normal intercourse, sexual stimulation excites the ejaculation center, causing rhythmic contractions of the vas deferens, seminal vesicles, bulbocavernosus of the prostate, and ischiocavernosus, expelling semen from the vas deferens, seminal vesicles, and prostate through the urethra. Retrograde ejaculation occurs in the early stages of sexual arousal, when the bladder neck sphincter and membranous urethral sphincter are contracted. After ejaculation begins, semen flows from the epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, and prostate into the prostatic urethra but does not further flow into the posterior urethra. Consequently, some or all of the semen flows upward through the bladder neck and retrogrades into the bladder.
Causes of disease
1. Bladder neck closure disorder: Disruption of the anatomical function of the bladder neck or blockage of the sympathetic nerve innervation of the lower urinary tract can cause dysfunction of the bladder neck and external urethral sphincter, causing semen entering the prostatic urethra to flow back into the bladder, resulting in retrograde ejaculation.
(1) Congenital diseases: congenital bladder neck too wide, bladder neck contracture, urethral valve formation, etc., which lead to the inability of the bladder neck to close and retrograde ejaculation.
(2) Surgery and injury: Bladder neck surgery, pelvic surgery, posterior urethral rupture and other injuries can directly damage the bladder neck or damage the nerves that innervate the posterior urethra, causing abnormal function of the bladder neck sphincter and malfunction of closure, resulting in retrograde ejaculation.
(3) Endocrine diseases: such as diabetes can lead to peripheral neuropathy, causing dysfunction of the sympathetic nerve innervation of the lower urinary tract and affecting the bladder neck closure function.
To nourish the kidneys, one must first understand how: Understanding kidney deficiency in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the types of kidney deficiency in modern people.
This chapter begins by pointing out that "tonifying the kidneys" requires "understanding the principles," clarifying that the concept of "kidney" in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is far broader than that of the kidney organ in Western medicine. The article elaborates on the theory that "nine out of ten men experience kidney deficiency after middle age," analyzing five major causes of...

2026-04-29Diabetes and sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction and occasional premature ejaculation, are not necessarily diseases.
This article answers three men's health questions via a Q&A format. First, the impact of diabetes on male sexual function: diabetes can cause vascular and neuropathy, leading to progressive erectile dysfunction, which is difficult to treat. Second, "priapism," or abnormal penile erection, is related to yin deficiency and yang excess, liver stagnation transforming into fire, and seminal vesicle...
