Self-test signals for spinal health and men's health guidelines
Feelings of fatigue may originate from the spine (Part 1)
Back pain, stiff neck, dizziness, numbness in the arms… these symptoms constantly plague modern people. Spinal disorders and related diseases have become a health problem that cannot be ignored.
One of the important reasons for these symptoms is a problem with the spine—the central axis of the human body, the main support of the human torso.
How can you tell if your spine is healthy? There are 15 signs of an unhealthy spine. Although chiropractors need years of training and sophisticated analytical techniques to detect spinal subluxations, you can still determine the health of your spine by checking the following simple checks:
Your shoes often have uneven heels. This is usually due to unequal leg lengths or uneven pressure along the long axis of the spine.
You cannot take a comfortable, deep breath. Breathing is closely related to the health and vitality of the spine.
Your neck, back, or other joints make popping or cracking sounds. This is usually due to locked or constricted spinal joints.
Your head or hips cannot easily twist or rotate to the sides at the same angle, resulting in a reduced range of motion.
You often feel tired. An unbalanced spine depletes your energy.
You have difficulty concentrating. Subluxation or cervical discomfort can affect brain health.
You have a weaker immune system. Subluxation can affect your neuroendocrine system, which plays a crucial role in fighting disease and preventing infection.
The feeling of fatigue may originate from the spine (II)
You walk with your toes pointing outwards. This test is easy unless you intentionally change it. Observe your feet as you walk. Are they both pointing forward? Or is one foot pointing inwards or outwards? Or both? Foot abduction may be a sign of problems in the lower spine or hip bones, or uneven pressure in the head, neck, or base of the skull.
One leg appears shorter than the other. Lie down without removing your shoes. Have someone stand behind you and gently straighten your heels along the direction of your body, observing your feet. Compare the position of your heels; one leg (usually the right) will appear slightly shorter than the other (measure the shorter leg, record its length, and show it to your chiropractor).
You have poor posture. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, your weight should be evenly distributed on each foot. If not, this is the best evidence that your spine, head, or hips are not aligned with your body's center line.
You have headaches, neck, lower back pain, or soft tissue pain in your muscles or joints. This is often a sign of subluxation.
You have a persistent feeling of tension, tightness, and pressure, especially in your muscles and joints. This is often due to muscle subluxation.
You feel stiffness and discomfort in your back and neck. Stiffness and discomfort may be a sign of subluxation damage.
You just feel uncomfortable, but your health is not good. Subluxation can affect your overall health.
Please check if this applies to you. If you have any problems, please see a doctor for spinal correction as soon as possible.
